Twenty-five power pass students from Johnson Middle School recently participated in the Sally Ride Science Festival at the University of Texas at Dallas. Power pass students are individuals who achieve straight A's and are allowed special privileges at Johnson Middle School. The festival allowed students to meet and interact with astronaut Wendy Lawrence, participate in hands on science experiments and view intriguing science exhibits.
