All three Irving ISD girls’ basketball teams have advanced to the playoffs. The MacArthur Lady Cardinals won the District 9-6A championship. The Nimitz Lady Vikings tied for second, while the Irving Lady Tigers finished fourth. All three teams will play in the bi-district round of the playoffs on Monday, February 15. The schedule is as follows:
- MacArthur vs. Richardson Berkner @ Lewisville Hebron High School, 6 p.m.
- Nimitz vs. Richardson High @ Lewisville Hebron High School, 7:30 p.m.
- Irving vs. Mesquite Horn @ Davis Fieldhouse, 7:30 p.m.
