The Tom Thumb supermarket located at 820 S MacArthur Blvd (technically it is a Coppell address), in the corner of S. MacArthur Blvd and Belt Line Rd in the northern part of Valley Ranch.
They are having a liquidation sale offering 90% off items.
According to Tom Thumb spokeswoman, Connie Yates, the store is closing December 1 for good.
"After a great deal of careful analysis, we have made the decision to close four of our North Texas stores," Yates said. "Closing an underperforming store is always a tough decision, but sometimes a necessary step to position our company for greater success and growth."
Yates is referring to a total a four cosures which includes two Albertson locations in Fort Worth (10800 N. Beach St.) and DeSoto (1300 W. Belt Line Road) as well as the Tom Thumb at S. Macarthur Blvd and the other in Flower Mount (2600 Flower Mound Road).
Albertsons Cos. LLC purchased Tom Thumb's parent company Safeway in Jan. 2015.
