Irving Covid Cases Total 13,165

Dallas County remains at "Stay home, stay safe" Covid-19 risk level.  With a surge in cases being reported daily (1,700 yesterday), Irving residents should also take the necessary precautions to prevent spread of the virus.

As of today, there have been 13,165 cases reported in Irving.

 

 

Here is a breakdown based on zip code:

  • 75038 - 1,191 cases
  • 75039 - 711 cases
  • 75060 - 3,378 cases
  • 75061 - 4,005 cases
  • 75062 - 2,669 cases
  • 75063 - 952 cases

Dallas County has reported 1,549 deaths due Covid-19, including 81 deaths in Irving. 

High-Risk Individuals Are People That Meet Any One of the Following Criteria:

  • 65 years of age or older
  • Live in a nursing home or long-term care facility
  • Have an underlying medical condition:
    • Lung disease including moderate to severe asthma and COPD
    • Serious heart conditions and hypertension<
    • Immunocompromised (including cancer treatment, smoking, bone marrow or organ transplants, immune deficiencies, poorly controlled HIV or AIDS, and prolonged use of corticosteroids and other immune weakening medications)
    • Are obese
    • Have diabetes
    • Have chronic kidney disease or are undergoing dialysis
    • Have liver disease

Drive-Thru Testing Locations

For City of Dallas and Dallas County residents only (must provide documentation of address ex. utility bill). Available for children over age 5.

Walk-Up Testing Locations

  • Open Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm (or until testing limits reach capacity)
  • CLOSED Saturdays and Sundays
  • Available for children over age 5.
  • No appointment required
  • Open Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30am - 4pm (or until testing limits reach capacity)
  • CLOSED Sundays and Mondays
  • Available for children over age 5.
  • No appointment required

Parkland Hospital

Parkland Hospital has opened four community-based clinics open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment only for current Parkland patients who meet the medically necessary criteria. Patients can call the COVID-19 patient line at (214) 590-8060 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or visit www.parklandhospital.com/COVID19testing.
