Irving Oak Street Health Celebrates Grand Opening

The Irving community came together Wednesday to celebrate the recent opening of Irving's new Oak Street Health center with a ribbon cutting, food and music. The center, which opened in mid-August at 2928 N Belt Line Road, is the ninth Oak Street Health center in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area and the 12th location across Texas.

“We are proud to be a part of the Irving community and today's grand opening was a way to say thank you to our new neighbors. We are committed to serving older adults here in Irving with access to our high-quality, value-based care as part of our company's mission to rebuild healthcare as it should be,” said Dr. Rupen Amin, Regional Medical Director at Oak Street Health.

Oak Street Health is a network of value-based primary care centers for adults on Medicare with more than 100 centers across the country in 15 states. Since its founding in 2012, Oak Street Health has driven an approximately 51 percent reduction in patient hospital admissions compared to Medicare benchmarks, a 42 percent reduction in 30-day readmission rates and a 51 percent reduction in emergency department visits, all while maintaining a Net Promoter Score of 90 across patients.
