They moved to Winnsboro to finish their time in East Texas. After Betty’s passing, Curtis relocated to the north Texas area to be close to his family. His last three years were spent at Legacy Oaks, independent senior living, in Midlothian, TX where he enjoyed lunch and dinner with friends and bridge on Thursday nights as well as many, many hours watching any kind of sports especially golf on TV. He loved and was loved by his kids, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren and would not hesitate to share stories about them to anyone who would listen.
