The city is finalizing plans to renovate Nichols Park tennis court. The project will include an entire new court surface, fencing and updated lighting in the area. In anticipation of Nichols Park tennis court renovations, crews will be removing the court’s light poles beginning Friday, Aug. 5. During this time, power at the park will be completely turned off, and remain off, for crews to safely remove the light poles and relocate panel boxes. This project is expected to be completed by early fall, weather permitting.
Residents are encouraged to avoid the fenced area at the park. View a list of other Irving Parks and recreation facilities.
