On February 13, 2023, Irving ISD hosted an official groundbreaking ceremony for the future Professional Learning and Wellness Center.
The new building will be adjacent to the Elsie Walker Outdoor Learning Center, located at the Jack E Singley Academy campus.

The facility will be 2 ½ story building featuring HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters), PEACE (Parent Education & Community Involvement), Wellness, and Professional learning spaces. The cost is expected to be $17.5 million. The design work was completed by WRA Architects and Lee Lewis Construction, Inc. will handle construction.
