Kimmy Huynh of Irving, Texas Makes Final Round in the Running for the Ultimate Dream Job
Sunglass Hut today announced their final round of contestants in the Full Time Fabulous blogger search - a nationwide contest that offers the opportunity to win the ultimate dream job as a jet-setting style blogger for SunglassHut.com.
Texas resident, Kimmy Huynh, was selected from hundreds of applicants as a top ten finalist, under consideration for the coveted position. The top contestants were chosen by a panel of judges based on a number of variables, including their 60-second videos, which have been viewed on YouTube more than 124,000 times, and voted on by over 70,000 people!
Huynh studied at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and currently works as a Marketing & PR professional. As an enthusiastic fashion blogger, Kimmy enjoys writing for her own blog - Fabulush.net. Kimmy has a strong internet following, and as a result, won the Full Time Fabulous popular vote ! With over 1,380 Twitter followers, Kimmy certainly knows how to grab the attention of her readers!
As the blogger for Sunglass Hut, the Full Time Fabulous winner will gain unrivaled access to the heart of style and fashion. For one year, the Full Time Fabulous blogger will live in a chic, fully-furnished apartment in New York, attend high profile fashion week events, receive a generous clothing allowance, and socialize with designers, models and celebrities. In addition to providing $100,000 in compensation, Sunglass Hut will cover all travel related expenses.
Kimmy, along with the other nine finalists, will be flown to New York City in early December to be interviewed by a select panel of judges comprised of fashion heavyweights, including internationally recognized fashion bloggers BryanBoy of Bryanboy.com and Wendy Lam of Nitrolicious.com. The finalists will be tasked to demonstrate their blogging skills over a four week period – December 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010 – during which the panel of judges will determine the perfect individual for the job. The winner will be announced on or about January 10, 2011 and their first assignment will begin with coverage of New York Fashion Week in February 2011.
