The Haltom City Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 12-year-old Cassie Johnson, who was last seen on January 29th. Cassie left the North Oaks Middle School campus, located at 4800 Jordan Park Dr, at approximately 11:15 am on foot and disappeared after crossing the railroad tracks next to the library.
Cassie, described as 5'5" and around 140 pounds with long braids, has not returned home or been in contact since her disappearance. She left behind her school Chromebook, unused since November, and her cell phone is currently undergoing analysis.
Authorities are hopeful that Cassie may be staying at a friend's house, but they are also aware that she has connections in Fort Worth. The police are urging anyone with information about Cassie's whereabouts to contact them immediately.

UPDATE: On January 31, 2024 at 9:04 am, the Haltom City Police Deparment posted "Cassie has been located and is being reunited with her family. We received a lot of support from our community, federal, state, and local partners. The help from the public was invaluable in locating Cassie this morning."
