On May 26, 2024, at 10:07 p.m., Fort Worth South Division officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Silverton Circle in Far Southwest Fort Worth in response to a shooting call.
Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile male victim with an apparent gunshot wound. The juvenile was pronounced deceased on scene by medical professionals.
Preliminary investigations suggest that an unknown suspect or suspects were attempting to rob the victim at the time of the shooting. As of now, no arrests have been made. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will determine the manner and cause of death and the identity once the nextof-kin has been notified.
Fort Worth Homicide detectives are actively investigating this incident and are working diligently to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible.
