Early Tuesday morning, June 4th, Northwest Division officers responded to a shooting call on the 3800 block of N. Elm St. in North Fort Worth. Upon arrival, officers found two shooting victims inside a residence. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the second was transported to JPS Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to detectives, an altercation inside the residence led to the shooting. The suspect or suspects fired multiple gunshots, striking both victims before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. The incident occurred at 2:01 am.
The victims were identified as father and son, 46-year-old Jaime Ignacio Reyna and 24-year-old Jaime Francisco Reyna.
The Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case.
