Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend a public input meeting regarding the proposed conversion of the outdoor swimming pool at Senter Park Recreation Center. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 18 at 6 p.m. at the recreation center located at 901 S. Senter Road.
The plan involves redeveloping the existing outdoor pool facility into an indoor, year-round aquatic center. Construction is expected to be finished by the spring or summer of 2026.
The design firm responsible for the project will present a concept based on feedback gathered from residents, stakeholders, city staff, and consultants. Attendees will have the chance to provide comments and suggestions about the proposed design.
Input received during the meeting will be carefully analyzed and used to update the concept before it is presented to the Irving City Council later this year. This meeting offers an important opportunity for community members to contribute their thoughts and ideas to the project.
