At approximately 12:30 a.m. on June 7, 2024, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1300 block of W. Wheatland Road, near the intersection with S. Polk St. Upon arrival, officers found 29-year-old Keylon Brown lying on the ground in the parking lot of the complex, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Dallas Fire Rescue quickly arrived on the scene and transported Brown to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Currently, there is no suspect description available. The investigation is ongoing and is being documented under case number 087842-2024.
