In 2021, Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne organized one of the first in-person job fairs since the COVID-19 pandemic. Many attendees received job offers on the spot, with more interviews scheduled in the following days. Due to high demand, a second job fair was held in 2023, bringing together over 17,000 people, more than 375 employers, 20 constituent services groups, including 11 veteran organizations, and thousands of school supply packs were donated to North Texas families.
A bipartisan group of elected officials and community partners will be joining forces to host the 2024 North Texas Job Fair. Individuals and businesses from all over Texas are invited to participate. Over the coming weeks, updates on new employment opportunities, services, and back-to-school information will be available. The event will take place at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers, on August 8th from 11am to 3pm.
The job fair aims to empower North Texans with opportunities, from entry-level positions to executive roles. The goal is to ensure that anyone willing to work hard and provide for their family can find a job. Community partners will once again donate school supplies to North Texas families in conjunction with the 2024 North Texas Job Fair.
