Grapevine Police are investigating a former high school teacher accused of sexual assault of a child and having an improper relationship with a student. Alainee Ray Simonson, 30, was arrested on Friday, December 13, and arraigned in Tarrant County later that night. She is charged with Sexual Assault of a Child and Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student.
Simonson is accused of committing the crimes in 2022 and 2023 while employed as a teacher at the Lewisville Independent School District. The victim was a student at Killough High School.
All of Simonson's social media accounts have been deleted since the arrest. Before being taken down, her linkedin profile showed that she worked an English Language Arts teacher. It also showed that she previously worked for the Keller ISD.
Grapevine Police detectives continue to work with school officials on the investigation, which remains active. There is no evidence at this time to suggest additional victims.
