The Dallas Police Department has reported the arrests of two off-duty Senior Corporals on separate incidents.
On May 7, 2025, Senior Corporal Carlos Almeida, #10448, was arrested by the Carrollton Police Department for Public Intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor. Senior Corporal Almeida, who has been with the department since September 2012 and is assigned to the Facilities Management Unit, has been placed on administrative leave pending the results of an Internal Affairs administrative investigation.
Also on May 7, 2025, Senior Corporal Joseph Robeson, #9868, surrendered himself to the Richardson Police Department on a warrant issued by the Dallas Police Department for Tampering with Evidence, a third-degree felony. Senior Corporal Robeson, who joined the department in June 2009 and is assigned to the Community Engagement and Operations Bureau, has also been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs administrative investigation.
