The City of Lake Dallas has announced the appointment of Daniel Robb as the new Chief of Police, bringing more than 32 years of law enforcement experience to the role. Most recently, Chief Robb served as a Captain with the Richardson Police Department, and his career is marked by a strong commitment to public safety, professional excellence, and community-oriented policing.
Chief Robb holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy as well as the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT) Command College. His leadership emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and proactive engagement with the community.
“Chief Robb brings a proven track record of leadership, integrity, and vision that will be instrumental in guiding our Police Department into the future,” said Lake Dallas City Manager Luke Olson. “We are thrilled to welcome him to our team and are confident that his experience and dedication will be a tremendous asset to our community.”
Chief Robb is expected to officially assume his role this fall. City officials expressed confidence that under his leadership, the Lake Dallas Police Department will continue to strengthen community partnerships, improve departmental performance, and maintain public trust.
