Dallas Police are investigating a murder-suicide that occurred on Friday, May 9, 2025, at approximately 6 a.m. in the 11600 block of Audelia Road.
The preliminary investigation revealed that an unidentified male suspect shot the victim before dying from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital, where they later died.
Police have stated that the suspect and the victim were known to one another.
The ongoing investigation is documented under case numbers 065302-2025 and 065473-2025.
