Harry Lake Named Chair-Elect of Irving Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

Harry Lake

Harry Lake, CEO of Koa Partners, an Irving Las Colinas-headquartered real estate investment firm, has been selected as the Chair-Elect of the Greater-Irving Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. His term is set to commence on October 1 and will continue through the fiscal year.

Lake currently serves as the Chamber's Board Vice Chair – Economic Development Advisory Council, and Koa Partners has been a dedicated member-investor of the Chamber for over six years.

"I am humbled that my fellow directors have selected me as Chair-Elect, and I look forward to this incredible opportunity," said Lake. "Together, our board will be laser-focused on meeting the needs of our member-investors, continuing to demonstrate the incredible value of the Chamber and expanding Irving's already-outstanding reputation for economic expansion and retention opportunities."

Lake also extended his gratitude to current Chairman Stephen Love, acknowledging his long-standing collaboration and leadership on the Chamber Board.

Before founding Koa Partners, Lake held the position of Chief Investment Officer for Neal Richards Group, where he guided the firm's investment strategy to organically grow its diversified portfolio beyond $1 billion in asset value. A real estate veteran with nearly 30 years of experience, Lake previously worked at Trammell Crow Company and CBRE. He served six years in the Hawaiʻi Army National Guard and holds a triple major from the University of Hawaiʻi and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Beyond his extensive involvement with the Greater-Irving Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, Lake is active in the Urban Land Institute's Redevelopment and Reuse Council, serves on the boards of the Las Colinas Association and the local Nelson Golf & Sports Club, and is an elder at his local Church. He and his wife, Lisa, have been married for over 26 years and are raising two sons in Irving who attend Cistercian Preparatory School. Lake is also an active supporter of the Irving Schools Foundation and the Irving Family Advocacy Center, and is particularly enthusiastic about championing young professionals in the community, drawing from his own experiences as a graduate of programs like the Associate Leadership Council, Leadership SoCal, and Leadership Dallas.

Beth A. Bowman, IOM, CCE, President and CEO of the Greater-Irving Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, expressed her anticipation for Lake's leadership. "Harry's been a mainstay of Chamber leadership, and his insights have benefited our residents and member-investors, as well as their workforces, over the past several years. I am confident his leadership will mean vigorous advocacy for the interests of Irving-Las Colinas businesses and residents." Bowman also thanked outgoing Chair Stephen Love for his guidance.

Chamber Board Chair Stephen Love voiced his confidence in Lake, stating, "Harry will make an outstanding chair and ambassador for Irving-Las Colinas business community and residents. Harry's deep economic development insights will benefit our city through his talent for identifying and attracting the long-term opportunities that our city needs: diverse industries with good-paying jobs that can support our families."
