Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Multiple Vehicles on SH-183 in Irving; Police Seeking Witnesses

IRVING, Texas – A pedestrian was killed early Saturday after being struck by a vehicle on eastbound SH-183, then hit by several additional vehicles that did not stop, according to Irving Police.

The incident happened around 2:00 am in the inside lane of the 5300 block of eastbound 183 near the DFW Airport exit. Police shut down the eastbound lanes just past SH-360 for several hours while investigators processed and cleared the scene.

Irving Police are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to contact 972-273-1010. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once next of kin has been notified.
