An undercover drug buy in Irving earlier this month led investigators to a significant narcotics seizure and the arrest of 31-year-old Harrison Lundquist, according to police.
On Tuesday, November 4, around 1:05 p.m., an Irving Police investigator arranged a cocaine purchase with Lundquist through text messages. The meeting point was the parking lot of Payless Beer & Wine at 2016 W. Grauwyler Road.
The investigator and another undercover officer waited in an unmarked vehicle. A short time later, Lundquist arrived on an electric scooter and approached the passenger side. The passenger handed him 120 dollars, and Lundquist exchanged a clear plastic bag containing 3.4 grams of cocaine. The narcotics were later submitted into evidence, and Lundquist was identified through his Texas driver’s license photo and prior booking records.
On November 5, narcotics investigators secured a search warrant for Lundquist’s residence at 1214 Wentwood Drive (the home is owned by his parents). The warrant, signed by Judge Michael Huebner, was executed by Irving SWAT and the department’s narcotics unit. Inside Lundquist’s room, officers found 161.8 grams of cocaine and 329.1 grams of marijuana.
Both substances were recovered from his possession, and the cocaine field-tested positive. After being read his Miranda rights, Lundquist told investigators he understood “what he was getting into” and admitted to picking up narcotics every two to three weeks.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1 and Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Pounds.
