The Irving Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred July 28th, at approximately 5:34 p.m., in the 1900 block of W. Irving Boulevard near to the Pioneer Dr intersection in Central Irving.
Officers were dispatched to reports of a multi-vehicle major accident and discovered the driver of the motorcycle deceased at the scene. A second vehicle involved in the accident contained one occupant who was transported to Parkland
Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
The accident investigation is still ongoing by the Irving Police Department Traffic Section.
