Dick Dortch, Spring, TX, 1945 - 2024. He grew up in Irving and graduated from Irving High School in 1963. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard Butler and Ernestine Thompson Dortch. He is survived by his sons Chris of San Antonio and Todd of Spring, his siblings Tom of Rockwall, TX and Debby (Fred) Studer of Portland TX. He worked for Braniff Airways in Dallas for many years before being transferred to Houston Intercontinental Airport when they first started flying from there. When Braniff folded, he quickly joined Continental Airlines for the remainder of his career. Per Dick’s wishes, no memorial service is planned.
