Bomb Threat Prompts Evacuation of Three HEB ISD Campuses in Euless

A bomb threat against the HEB ISD District Alternative Education Program (DAEP) campus on Wednesday morning led to the evacuation of three campuses and a large-scale reunification effort.

The Euless Police Department, in coordination with HEB ISD and the Euless Fire Department, responded to the threat, ensuring the safety of students and staff at DAEP, KEYS Learning Center, and Central Junior High School. Authorities advised the public to avoid the area until further notice.

As a precaution, Central Junior High School at the 3100 block of Pipeline Road, KEYS High School at the 1100 block of Raider Drive, and DAEP on Raider Drive were evacuated.

A reunification site was established at the Pat May Center at 1849 Central Drive in Bedford, where parents were instructed to pick up students. Bedford police officers assisted at the location.

As of 2:05 p.m., HEB ISD confirmed that parent pickup was ongoing at the district’s administration building. Officials emphasized a multi-step verification process to ensure student safety, verifying both students and parents before releasing them. Additional staff, tables, and computers were deployed to expedite the process.

The investigation remains ongoing.
