On March 18, 2025, at approximately 12:06 p.m., the Richardson Police Department responded to a fatal single-vehicle crash in the 2300 block of the West Frontage Road of the North Central Expressway.
The driver, identified as 65-year-old Thomas Blair of Richardson, was traveling southbound in a Toyota sedan when he lost control of the vehicle. The car veered off the roadway and struck a concrete support pillar beneath the Galatyn Bridge.
Blair was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
The Richardson Police Department’s Special Crash Investigation Team is investigating the incident.
