The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is offering low-interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses, and nonprofit organizations in Dallas County affected by the severe thunderstorms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes on March 4, 2025.
To assist applicants, the SBA will open an in-person Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) at:
Lively Pointe Youth Center, 909 N. O’Connor Road
Opening: March 24 at 1 p.m.
Operating Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (through approximately April 11)
SBA representatives will be available to answer questions, explain the application process, and provide one-on-one assistance. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments can be scheduled in advance at appointment.sba.gov.
Loan Details & Deadlines
- Homeowners may apply for up to $500,000 to repair or replace real estate and up to $100,000 for personal property losses.
- Renters may apply for loans up to $100,000 for personal property losses, including vehicles.
- Businesses and nonprofits may apply for loans up to $2 million for physical damage and economic injury.
- Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are available to small businesses and nonprofits experiencing financial hardship due to the disaster.
