Man Arrested After Violent Crime Spree Involving Bank Robbery, Seven Carjackings Across Dallas County

A man accused of committing 14 violent felonies in a single day, including a bank robbery and multiple armed carjackings, was arrested on March 20, 2025, following a coordinated effort by multiple law enforcement agencies.

Gregory Noble, 55, was taken into custody by the Dallas Police Department, FBI Dallas’ Violent Crime Task Force (VCTF), and the Dallas ISD, Farmers Branch, Irving, and Coppell Police Departments after a series of crimes that began with the theft of a vehicle on Dallas Parkway and ended with his arrest near Singleton Boulevard and Gulden Lane in Dallas.

Timeline of the Crime Spree

  • Vehicle Theft & Bank Robbery – Noble stole a vehicle in the 14500 block of Dallas Parkway in Dallas, which contained a handgun. Shortly after, he robbed a bank in the 14800 block of Preston Road, using the stolen vehicle as a getaway car.

  • Armed Carjackings on Lemmon Avenue – Noble arrived at a business in the 5000 block of Lemmon Avenue, where he threatened employees and stole a second vehicle. He then attempted another carjacking at gunpoint at a business in the 6100 block of Lemmon Avenue but fled in the second stolen car.

  • Gunfire at School & Third Carjacking – Noble went to a school in the 9900 block of Webb Chapel Road, fired a gun into the air, and stole another vehicle from a victim at the scene.

  • Crash & Fourth Carjacking – After crashing into two vehicles at the 11800 block of Rosser Road, Noble forced a victim and their child out of their car at gunpoint and fled in his fourth stolen vehicle.

  • Fifth & Sixth Carjackings in Farmers Branch and Coppell – Noble abandoned the fourth vehicle at a business in Farmers Branch, stole keys to a fifth car, and drove into Coppell, where he crashed and attempted to steal the car he collided with. He then stole a sixth vehicle from a business and fled to Irving.

  • Seventh Carjacking & Final Arrest – Noble stole a seventh vehicle in Irving before being spotted in Dallas. He evaded police during a traffic stop but was later found near Singleton Boulevard and Gulden Lane, where he refused to exit the vehicle. Dallas SWAT responded and took him into custody.

Charges & Criminal History

Noble faces multiple charges, including:

  • Robbery of a Business

  • Aggravated Robbery

  • Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle

  • Evading Arrest

The FBI and other agencies involved are also pursuing additional charges. Noble has an extensive criminal history, including a prior conviction for bank robbery.

The Dallas Police Department credited the successful arrest to the swift coordination between local and federal law enforcement, along with the use of the Flock camera system, which tracked the stolen vehicles across multiple jurisdictions.

The investigation is documented under incident number 25-0481340 and remains ongoing.
