An 18-year-old male pedestrian was struck and killed by a Freightliner truck Tuesday morning in Cleburne, authorities said.
At approximately 7:46 a.m. on March 25, 2025, Cleburne Police responded to the crash at N. Main Street and Williams Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined that the pedestrian was crossing N. Main Street westbound when he was struck by a 2016 white Freightliner traveling southbound.
The victim, a Cleburne resident, was airlifted to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the Freightliner was uninjured.
The crash occurred just north of the intersection, and the investigation remains ongoing.
