Kyle Beckwith, a business and real estate attorney with experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, has been appointed by the Trump Administration as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Department of Labor’s Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP). His appointment took effect in February 2025.
Beckwith, who moved to Irving in 2021, has practiced law in Flower Mound, Dallas, and Farmers Branch. He previously worked for Black, Mann, & Graham L.L.P. and Texas Real Estate Law in Farmers Branch, focusing on regulatory compliance and business law.
As a Senior Policy Advisor, Beckwith is responsible for policy analysis, regulatory support, and evaluating program effectiveness to ensure OWCP’s compliance with statutory and administrative requirements. His role involves contributing to policy initiatives and assessing regulatory frameworks within the agency.
Beckwith earned his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law in December 2021, completing his studies a semester early. He also holds a business law certificate. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where he majored in political science and minored in legal studies.
His legal expertise spans regulatory compliance, government operations, and policy development. In law school, he authored a 27-page paper analyzing COVID-19 vaccine mandates and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) authority to enforce them. Beckwith is licensed to practice law in Texas, Iowa, and Washington, D.C.
Since 2015, he has been involved in political and judicial campaigns, contributing to grassroots organizing, policy research, and strategic outreach efforts.
