The event recognized 33 talented winners whose work captured this year’s theme” Fantastic Journeys Start on DART.” Students were asked to showcase their excitement, adventure, and endless possibilities of using DART.

With 952 entries across four categories, this year’s contest celebrated a rich blend of creativity, age groups, and artistic diversity. During the ceremony, winners were recognized on stage and awarded medals along with their prizes.

“I'm proud that I got to be part of our Student Art Contest's 30th anniversary. It was amazing to see the artistic talent we have across the DART service area," said DART Chief Development Officer Dee Leggett. "You could see the pride the students had in their work, and I loved how they discovered and represented the fantastic spaces that are accessible by DART."

DART encourages the public to plan a trip to the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) to see the winner’s artwork. Artwork will be on display at the DMA M2 Gallery until Sunday, May 4.
