Unofficial election results indicate John Bloch and Adam Muller have secured victories in their respective Irving City Council races, while the Place 2 contest will proceed to a runoff election.
In District 1, John Bloch emerged victorious, garnering 51.75% of the vote with 606 ballots cast in his favor. Tony Grimes trailed with 48.25%, receiving 565 votes.
The race for Place 2 proved to be more contested, with no candidate securing a majority. David Pfaff led the field with 47.31% (5,230 votes), followed closely by Sergio Porres at 45.11% (4,987 votes). Vicky Akinyi Oduk received 5.41% (598 votes), and Mark Zeske garnered 2.16% (239 votes). As a result, Pfaff and Porres will face each other in a runoff election.
In District 7, Adam Muller secured a narrow victory, obtaining 51.19% of the vote (1,051 votes). Priscilla Vigliante received 48.81%, with 1,002 votes cast.
The election saw significant involvement from political action committees, with the Families for Irving PAC supporting some of the winning candidates and the Lone Star Conservative Action Fund backing their opponents.
