Celebrating Irving – The City and the Man

On Friday, April 3, visit any Irving Public Library location for the opportunity to win prizes in the Seek and Find Rip Van Winkle Game. This event is for all ages and no registration is required. From 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, the Washington Irving Read-A-Thon will be in the Central Library Auditorium (801 W. Irving Blvd). During this event, volunteers will read aloud from Irving’s works. Refreshments will be served. No registration is required to attend. If you would like to volunteer to be a reader, please contact the Northwest Branch Library at (972) 721-2691 before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31.
