Texas Game Wardens Investigating Fatal Lake Grapevine Crash That Killed 18-Year-Old

Authorities need help identifying this woman (driver of PWC)

Update: Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez-Gonzalez was identified as the suspect that was driving the jet ski that killed Ava.  She was arrested on Monday, May 27th.  Another individual identified as 21-year-old Maikel Coello Peroz, was also arrested.  According to Texas Attorney General, both of them are illegal alients from Venezuela.  After the jet ski incident, the Gonzalez-Gonzalez fled the scene with Peroz and in the process, committed a hit-and-run after striking another vehicle.

“Ava Moore’s senseless death was caused by an illegal alien who should have never been in our country in the first place. My heart breaks for Ava’s family and friends, and my prayers are with them as they face this tragedy,” said Attorney General Paxton. “My office will continue to work with local, state, and national law enforcement partners to secure justice for Ava.”
