Two Wanted Suspects Captured in Aubrey; One for Thefts and Another for Sexually Abusing a Child

Brandon Scott Lilley and Earltuan Battles

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the Aubrey Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) executed a focused warrant service operation, resulting in the arrests of two individuals wanted for serious offenses.

Detectives Kennedy and Luttkus, along with Officer Brown—temporarily assigned to CID during the school break—carried out the operation, which was launched in place of the department’s usual “Wanted Wednesday” initiative.

By the end of the day, both suspects had been located, arrested without incident, and transported to the Denton County Jail.

Arrested:

  • Brandon Scott Lilley, 30, of Lewisville. His charges stem from a May 19, 2025, incident in Providence Village and include:

    • Evading arrest with a vehicle with previous convictions

    • Theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000

    • Theft of property less than $2,500 with two or more prior convictions

    • Burglary of vehicles

  • Earltuan Battles, 22, of Aubrey. He was wanted in connection with a February 9, 2025, offense and is charged with:

    • Sexual Assault of a Child

Both men are being held at the Denton County Jail.
