On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at approximately 11:37 a.m., Haltom City Police responded to reports of a person armed with a gun at an apartment complex located at 4100 Northern Cross Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers secured the area and established communication with individuals inside the apartment. Shortly thereafter, multiple gunshots were heard from within the unit. Officers forced entry and found a deceased adult male suspect and an adult female victim suffering from critical injuries.
Preliminary reports indicate the suspect and victim were known to each other. The investigation remains ongoing.
Authorities confirm there is no further threat to the public. Residents are asked to avoid the area as first responders and investigators continue their work. No additional information will be released at this time.
