Fort Worth Man Gets 15 Years for Kidnapping 9-Year-Old Girl

Defendant: Francisco Chua Solis

FORT WORTH, TX – A Tarrant County jury has sentenced 64-year-old Francisco Chua Solis to 15 years in prison after finding him guilty of Aggravated Kidnapping with the Intent to Commit Sexual Abuse. The guilty verdict was reached on August 6.

The crime occurred on September 3, 2021, when Solis offered to take a 9-year-old girl to McDonald's. She got into his vehicle, but after driving for a period, she realized they were not headed to the restaurant and asked to go home. Solis then stopped near a business and attempted to touch the girl's thigh. She was able to escape the vehicle and ran to a nearby woman for help.

The Fort Worth Police Department's Major Case Unit investigated the case. Tarrant County prosecutors David Elder and Matt Hinojosa prosecuted the case, with assistance from DA investigator Brad Gantt and Victim Coordinator Cristina Rangel. The District Attorney's Office thanked the Fort Worth Police Department for their work and commitment to community safety.
