Fort Worth Man Sentenced to 20 Years After Robbing Family Dollar at Gunpoint

FORT WORTH, Texas – The Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office announced the conviction of 29-year-old Elliot Royale Ingram, who pled guilty to Aggravated Robbery and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Before this conviction, Ingram had been arrested for breaking into Nolan Catholic High School on Bridge Street in East Fort Worth, where he stole numerous items belonging to the school. He was charged with four counts of Aggravated Robbery in connection with that case and later bonded out.

While out on bond, on November 8, 2024, Ingram robbed a Family Dollar store at gunpoint. He was identified as the suspect during the investigation and arrested four days later on November 12.  Other charges were grouped into the conviction such as Mail Theft, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Harboring a Runaway Child.

The District Attorney’s Office credited the Fort Worth Police Department, including its East Division Property Crimes and Robbery Units, as well as Detectives Garner, Reyes, and Santos, for their work on the case.
