Irving, TX – On Tuesday, August 27, 2025, Irving Police responded to a shooting at a business (Zak's Muffler) in the 1000 block of E. Irving Boulevard (near Nursery Rd.). The incident followed an argument between 21-year-old Cayto Rivers and 21-year-old Elijah Jacobs and the business owners.

Investigators say the altercation escalated when Rivers and Jacobs entered a restricted area of the muffler shop. When asked to leave, the two became aggressive and drew firearms, leading to a struggle. During the incident, one of the victims was dragged by a vehicle as the suspects attempted to flee, and a firearm was discharged, resulting in Rivers being shot.

Police located Rivers and Jacobs about a block from the scene. Rivers was transported to a hospital for treatment, while Jacobs was booked into the Irving Jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and later transferred to the Dallas County Jail.

Rivers, known as Dallas rapper FBG Murda, faces the same charge and will be booked once he is medically cleared, authorities said.

No further injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
