Defendant: Mark Aaron Coker

Tarrant County, TX – A jury has convicted 46-year-old Mark Aaron Coker of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, sentencing him to 30 years in prison.

On July 7, 2023, Coker—who already had active warrants—was detained at an apartment complex in Euless while walking to his vehicle carrying a laundry basket. Inside the basket, officers discovered five bags of methamphetamine. A further search of the apartment where Coker was staying uncovered additional methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The case was investigated by the Mid-Cities Drug Task Force and the Euless Police Department, whose efforts were credited with helping keep the community safe.

Prosecution was led by Assistant District Attorneys Michael Ferry and David Tamez, with DA Investigator Sean Wheetley assisting the case.
