Tarrant County Child Predator Sentenced to 50 Years for Probation Violations

FORT WORTH, Texas—A Tarrant County man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after his probation was revoked for repeatedly violating its conditions.

The Tarrant County District Attorney's Office announced that Devon Dinger, 31, was on probation for the 2015 aggravated sexual assault of a minor family member. He was found to have violated his probation multiple times, including by accessing social media and sending explicit videos to underage girls.

Following a probation revocation hearing, the court sentenced him to 50 years.

The case was handled by Assistant District Attorney Emily Dixon, with assistance from victim coordinator Imelda Lopez. The District Attorney's Office thanked the Tarrant County Community Supervision & Corrections Department, Cook Children's, and the Watauga Police Department for their work on the case.
