IRVING, Texas—The Irving Independent School District (ISD) has announced that it will continue to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for the 2025-2026 school year. The program, which operates under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, will allow the district to provide breakfast and lunch at no cost to all students.
The CEP eliminates the need for families to fill out meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. According to a district statement, this approach reduces the burden on both families and school administrators while ensuring that all students receive nutritious meals.
