FORT WORTH, TX — On August 18, 2025, 26-year-old Jarod Dajon Howell was sentenced to 42 years in prison after being found guilty of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, four to 200 grams.
According to the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, Howell was observed selling drugs at an apartment complex on November 8, 2024. When officers approached, he attempted to flee, discarding a bag containing more than 120 fentanyl pills, seven bags of heroin, 31 bags of cocaine, and methamphetamine.
Prior to his trial, Howell cut off his GPS monitor, prompting a warrant for his arrest. He was later apprehended at AT&T Stadium in Arlington during a Dallas Cowboys game.
