DALLAS, Texas—A 45-year-old man has been sentenced to 39 years in prison after a Dallas County jury convicted him of sexual assault and indecency with a child.
Ronald Austin Roberson was found guilty on both charges after a jury heard testimony from two victims. He was sentenced to 20 years for Sexual Assault of a Child and 19 years for Indecency with a Child – Sexual Contact. The judge ruled that the sentences would run consecutively, for a total of 39 years.
The case was prosecuted by Lead Prosecutor Ward Weber and Second Chair Samantha Jackson. The investigation was conducted by the Carrollton Police Department.
