The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and Globe Life have awarded $100,000 in grants to 13 nonprofit organizations across Texas and Oklahoma — including the Irving Girls Softball Association — as part of the 2025 Globe Life Baseball and Softball Grant Program.
The Irving Girls Softball Association will use its grant to purchase new equipment to benefit local young athletes.
The grant recipients will be recognized at Globe Life Field during pre-game ceremonies before the Rangers-Astros matchup tomorrow night at 6:15 p.m.
This marks the 14th consecutive year of the program, which has provided more than $1.2 million to over 150 organizations since 2012 to expand youth baseball and softball opportunities.
