IRVING, TX – The City of Irving’s Traffic and Transportation Streets Division is responsible for maintaining more than 1,440 roadway lane-miles — the equivalent of a two-lane road stretching from Irving to Nashville, Tennessee.

With North Texas’ unpredictable weather and heavy traffic, potholes remain a common challenge. Each year, Irving’s crews repair an estimated 7,000 to 10,000 potholes.

To keep roads safer and reduce long-term damage, residents and commuters are urged to report potholes through the city’s Pothole Hotline.

Pothole Hotline: (972) 721-7303 (available 24/7)
Email: pothole@irvingtx.gov

When calling, residents should provide a specific address or location so crews can respond quickly. The city’s goal is to repair reported potholes within 24 hours.

Messages left on the hotline are checked throughout the day and relayed to repair crews.
