TROPHY CLUB, Texas—An investigation into human trafficking led to the arrest of three people and the closure of a local business on Thursday.
The Trophy Club Police Department, in coordination with the Denton County Sheriff's Office Human Trafficking Response Team, the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, conducted an inspection at Foot Palace, a business located at 174 Trophy Lake Drive.
The operation resulted in the arrest of three individuals. Evidence collected from the scene is currently being reviewed, and authorities are working to obtain and execute additional search warrants.
The Town of Trophy Club has revoked Foot Palace's certificate of occupancy, and the establishment has been closed.
