WACO, TX — Waco Police are investigating a shooting that left 18-year-old Elijah McIntyre dead on September 21, 2025.
Officers responded at approximately 8:30 p.m. to the 900 block of N. 9th Street, where two males had been shot. Both were transported to a local hospital; McIntyre was pronounced deceased, while the second victim, a 19-year-old male, is in stable condition.
Police have not made any arrests and believe the incident was isolated. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 254-753-HELP (4357). Tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
This marks the eighth homicide investigation in Waco for 2025.
