GARLAND, Texas — On Friday, September 26, 2025, just after 1:20 p.m., Garland Police officers responded to the area of Lavon Drive (State Highway 78) and Murphy Road, near the Sachse city limit, to assist Sachse Police in locating suspects tied to an aggravated robbery and vehicle crash.
Officers began searching for the male suspects in a large wooded area near the Firewheel Golf Course at the Garland-Sachse city limits. The dense brush, trees, and waterways in the area are posing significant challenges to the search.
Authorities confirmed that one suspect has been apprehended, but the search continues for two others.
As a precaution, nearby schools were notified and implemented protective measures during the incident.
Police are urging residents to avoid the area until the search concludes. Updates will be released as they become available.
