LAKE WORTH, Texas – Lake Worth Police Department officers, supported by the Special Operations Unit, concluded a series of enforcement operations this summer targeting illegal drug activity in the city.
During one operation, officers arrested 31-year-old Erica Buehrle, who was found in possession of 343 grams of methamphetamine along with other narcotics. Subsequent operations led to the seizure of an additional 316 grams of methamphetamine and 40 grams of fentanyl.
Buehrle has been charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 (≥200 grams <400 grams) and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1/1-B. She has since been released from Tarrant County Jail on a $26,500 bond.
In total, officers confiscated more than one and a half pounds of methamphetamine, along with a quantity of fentanyl considered enough to be potentially lethal to dozens of people.
